Kristi Thibaut is no stranger to public service. A former Member of the Texas Legislature, Kristi co-founded Parents for Full & Fair Funding of Texas Public Schools, just completed a term as President of the Hunters Creek Elementary PTA, and currently serves on the Board of the Spring Branch Education Foundation. Her volunteer work includes serving on the Board of Playworks- Texas and fundraising for Chapelwood School for Young Children.
While serving as a member of the Texas House of Representatives, Kristi served on the Land Resource & Management, and Culture, Tourism & Recreation Committees. Kristi’s legislative colleagues recognized her hard work and leadership by naming her Freshman of the Year. Prior to her service in the legislature, Kristi worked as a fundraiser for the American Heart Association and other non-profit groups.
A native of Bay City Kristi holds two degrees from the University of Texas-Austin. She and her husband Mark, an oil and gas professional, reside with their son Christopher in Hunters Creek Village.
